In a statement, MGG Legal said the firm was created in 2010 with a single ambition to provide French and foreign companies with the best possible service in French Labour and Employment Law, and ten years later this merger is a natural step for the firm.
Close ties

Ten years later and inspired by the same ambition they have now decided to join forces with Voltaire Avocats, with whom we have developed close ties for many years. With this move, they firm now comprises a team of 25 lawyers located in Paris, Lyon and Lille and they intend to play a key part in French labour and employment law, providing support to their local and international clients in all traditional and emerging fields of French labour and employment law.
Logical step
Marijke Granier-Guillemarre and Loic Heron, partners at MGG Legal, said: “We are delighted by this tie-up. Our firms have collaborated for some years, very effectively, and our teams have always appreciated and respected each other. We share similar values and working methods, which makes this merger a natural and logical step.” Anne Vincent-Ibarrondo, David Guillouet and François Hubert, partners at Voltaire Avocats, said: “Thanks to this merger we are strengthening and tailoring our offer to meet the expectations of our clients.
