Eugen Miscoi (CIPP/C) is a senior associate in McCarthy Tétrault’s Business Law Group and its Cyber/Data Group in Montreal. Specializing in technology, privacy, and cybersecurity law, he enables clients to leverage technological solutions to create value while demonstrating compliance with all Canadian federal and provincial privacy and information management requirements and industry best practices. Eugen has helped design the firm’s Law 25 compliance offering, which has been rolled out to many clients. In addition to obtaining his law degree from Uniersité de Montréal, Eugen’s in-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity, data governance, privacy, and risk management fields were certified by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA Security+ 2019), and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (CDPSE 2021).
