He represents a range of clients in various sectors, including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), fashion and luxury goods, internet, media and entertainment, renewable energy and charity. Herwin is amongst other things co-author of the chapter “The trustee and intellectual property” in the “Insolvency Practice” book, the loose-leaf intellectual property textbook “Intellectual Property” and the Commentary on the Dutch Civil Code (chapter on unfair trade practices) He has been described in WTR1000, Chambers Global/Europe and Legal500 as “an excellent business lawyer” and “an exceptional choice for all IP-related matters”.
