Monica is a founding partner at Akran Intellectual Property and a lawyer since 1999 (Cassation Lawyer since 2012). Monica deals with intellectual property consultancy and litigation as well as anti-counterfeiting strategies and actions. An active member of INTA (International Trademark Association), she has extensive experience with a broad spectrum of complex litigations as well as with investigatory and enforcement procedures to combat the infringement and counterfeiting of trademarks, patents, designs and copyrights. Monica has also ample experience in the drafting and negotiating of contracts, including copyright, trademark, technology licenses, technology transfer agreements and research contracts.
