Rafael Alves is a Partner at MAMG Advogados and Professor of the Graduate Program (FGV LAW) at FGV São Paulo Law School (FGV DIREITO SP). He represents clients in domestic and international arbitrations, mediation and negotiation procedures in complex disputes involving construction contracts, M&A transactions, commercial partnerships, real estate law, banking law, oil and gas, energy, among others. He holds a B.A., a M.A. and a Ph.D. in Procedural Law from the University of São Paulo. He holds an LL.M. from New York University (NYU), where he was awarded the Arthur T. Vanderbilt Scholarship and the Arthur T. Vanderbilt Medal in 2010. NYU Weinfeld Fellow. Member of the Board of CPR Institute. Co-chair of the Brazilian Advisory Board of CPR Institute.
