Rafael García del Poyo is the Head of the IT and IP law department for Osborne Clarke in Spain, and a leading member of the global Osborne Clarke Technology, Media and Communications (TMC) service team. Over a career spanning more than 30 years, Rafael is experienced across the TMC legal spectrum, including intellectual property, data protection, payment services and consumer protection matters. Additionally, Rafael also acts as arbitrator and mediator in matters managed by arbitration institutions such as WIPO, the Court of Arbitration of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and the European Association for Arbitration. Rafael is the co-author of several books and legal articles and frequently participates as speaker and lecturer at many leading institutions and universities in Europe and Latin America.
