Sleiman is a partner at Global and has extensive experience in both transactional work and all forms of litigation and dispute resolution. His primary expertise is in the field of banking and finance, in addition to contentious dispute resolution. He acts for a wide range of clients including both local and regional corporate clients as well as international banks and financial institutions. He regularly advises clients in complex litigation cases involving various banking/financial derivative products and has acted on several high-profile, high -value disputes (including disputes involving Islamic finance) in the UAE. Notably, Sleiman was involved in representing a client in a landmark case involving Islamic sukuk in the UAE and has worked on numerous disputes arising from major projects across the UAE, regularly being instructed to advise clients when pursuing claims before the UAE local courts and arbitration tribunals.
