Cooley is moving its London office from Dashwood House, where it opened in 2015, to a state-of-the-art new space, 22 Bishopsgate. Cooley is targeting a Q3 2020 move. More than 200 employees will occupy the 75,000-square-foot space across three floors.

High profile

22 Bishopsgate will offer an art gallery, fresh food market, innovation hub, business club, gym, meditation retreat and spa. The building will also feature London’s highest free public viewing gallery and the capital’s largest bicycle park. “Our London office has delivered impressive growth and maintained a high profile since its 2015 launch,” said Joe Conroy, Cooley’s chief executive officer. “Reflective of such success, the move to 22 Bishopsgate is an extension of our innovation-focused brand, and it speaks to our powerful commitment to this great city. This stunning new space will further strengthen our ability to grow with and represent the world’s most dynamic companies.”

Inspiring

Justin Stock, managing partner of Cooley’s London office, said “We set out to make a positive impact in London, and the journey since launch has been inspiring.” Mr Stock added, “Moving to this flexible, collaborative and cutting-edge new space offers us every opportunity to grow and build further.” Cooley’s London office has built out practices including corporate/M&A, banking & finance, venture capital & private equity, capital markets, technology transactions, life sciences, insurance, litigation, IP, product compliance & liability, tax, employment & benefits, competition and cyber/data/privacy, among others.
