With the Luxury Law Summit Europe just one week away, luxury businesses are looking forward to a first chance to gather virtually to address the many challenges that have been emerging form the Covid-19 pandemic in recent months. The Summit is offering delegates a rare chance to touch base with each other globally and share experiences and insights as the business seeks to move forward.

Taking place on September 3rd, the Summit will focus on a new world for luxury and how the Pandemic is reshaping business, with the opening keynote given by Michael Ward, Managing Director of Harrods. Conference Chair Jacqui Harper, virtual presence expert, will guide delegates through a range of pressing issues for the industry, including topics such as tips for retailers to survive insolvency; how to grow brands through licensing and franchising and why luxury companies need to promote good corporate behaviours. Reshaping luxury through Technology will also feature high on the agenda as the tensions between bricks and mortar and e-commerce become ever clearer.

Insights will also be given into the Luxury Heartlands of London, Paris, Milan and New York, as major cities face their own particular problems in the pandemic. This will be put into the context of the pandemic geo-politics and the luxury sector outlook, which will include why companies need to take stock of their supply chain issues.

A closing session will offer lessons for luxury as General Counsel look to navigate the future, moderated by Kate Wilkinson, Group General Counsel & Company Secretary of Mulberry Group and including GCs from top luxury brands Manolo Blahnik, Kempinski Hotels, Asprey, Charlotte Tilbury and Marimekko Corporation.
