Addleshaws and Nabarro call off merger

London law firms Addleshaw Goddard and Nabarro have broken off talks over a potential merger, ending any chance of creating a combined firm with revenues of more than £280 million.

Initial discussions were held in February over a potential merger but the firms have agreed that talks will go no further, reports the Business Desk.

Strategic progress

In a statement, Addleshaws said it was still ‘open minded’ over the possibility of a merger to ‘accelerate strategic progress and growth’.
Nabarro also confirmed the merger talks had broken down, adding that it continues to have a ‘good relationship’ with Addleshaws.
