The firm recently decided that it would withdraw from parts of Asia because of the coverage that is still maintained by its arrangement with the Magic Circle practice. The two firms have been in alliance for two years and, according to Linklaters Asia managing partner Marc Harvey, could consider turning the arrangement into a financial one as well.
