The team is to join Dentons, the largest law firm in the world by headcount, at the beginning of next month and will remain in its offices in Watford for the time being. The banking litigation team brings with it close relationships with a number of banks and financial institutions, including Barclays and Royal Bank of Scotland.

Further expansion in future

The hires bring the firm’s financial and commercial litigation group to a total of 37 partners and 130 fee-earners with a focus on advising clients on complex financial disputes and regulatory investigations. Dentons UK managing partner Brandon Ransley said that the firm would seek to expand and strengthen the team further in the future.
