Ashurst has announced a collaboration with Cognia Law, a managed legal services provider, to support its Ashurst Advance capability. The specialist Ashurst Advance Delivery teams aims to drive efficiency by providing effective process, resourcing and technology solutions.
Defining the future
The partnership will see Cognia provide a broad range of legal managed services that Ashurst may require, working in collaboration with the firm's existing Delivery teams. Mike Polson, head of Ashurst Advance Delivery, commented “Improving efficiency in the legal services delivery model for clients whilst maintaining high quality and legal excellence is the central purpose of Ashurst Advance Delivery. The success of our current offering is reflected in the continuing increase in demand from clients resulting in increasing volumes of business requiring support from the teams. Entering into the collaboration with Cognia affords us the scalability to meet existing and future demand in a flexible and cost-efficient way. This is a great opportunity for both of our businesses to work together in order to strengthen our ability to service clients in the most effective and efficient way.” Chris Georgiou, head of Ashurst Advance, said “At Ashurst Advance we strongly believe that collaborations between leading service providers will increasingly define the future of the legal services market.”
Leveraging aggregated solutions
Last month the firm launched their new digital products business Ashurst Digital Ventures, which Mr Georgiou says demonstrates “our commitment to ensuring that we adapt our delivery model to ensure the best service standards for clients." Janet Taylor-Hall, ceo of Cognia Law, commented “Increasingly clients are looking to leverage aggregated solutions - our experience has shown that the power of collaboration between the in-house team, law firm, law company and tech providers, ensures clients receive the best outcomes at the right price.”
