Mr Greer joins Baker & McKenzie from White & Case’s Tokyo office, where he was an associate. He is a Registered Foreign Lawyer in Japan and handles international arbitration matters for both multinational and Japanese companies. He also advises them on mediation and litigation issues. In a statement, Baker & McKenzie’s Tokyo office managing partner Jeremy Pitts said: ‘As Japanese corporations expand overseas they are becoming party to an increasing number of disputes many of which can be resolved through arbitration, particularly in emerging markets.
