Three in four worry about information governance whilst 50 per cent have no technical solution in place. Two in three implemented an information governance solution to find information whilst half said increasing regulatory pressure was the main driver.
Lawyers as advisors, not decision-makers
Most of the respondents (81 per cent) said the general counsel had an input in information governance policies. However only one in eight regarded lawyers as the initiators in the information governance area with 60 per cent describing themselves as advisors. The research was conducted in association with Recommind.
