Brewer drafts in new general counsel

Anna Tolley is to move to the top legal department slot at the UK and Ireland offices of US brewers Anheuser-Busch InBev.
Ms Tolley – a former Halliwells lawyer – will become general counsel for those regions, following the departure of Claude Bahoshy earlier this year.
According to Legal Week, Ms Tolley – a civil and commercial litigator who joined the company in 2009 – will oversee the company’s regional team and report to New York-based chief legal and compliance officer Sabine Chalmers.
Mr Bahoshy left his post after five years with the drinks company to take the role of deputy general counsel at Alliance Healthcare, which was formed five years ago following a split from Alliance Boots.
The beer company, which has UK and Ireland revenues of more than £1 billion, boasts a portfolio of brands including Becks, Stella Artois, Leffe and Budweiser.
