Brown Rudnick boosts Paris with restructuring duo

Brown Rudnick has bolstered its Paris team with the hire of partners from French firms De Gaulle Fleurance & Associés and August and Debouzy.

Brown Rudnick's Paris office has hired Didier Bruère-Dawson and David Malamed

Didier Bruère-Dawson and David Malamed are the first lateral hires for the firm in Paris since its launch. Mr Bruère-Dawson was previously head of insolvency at De Gaulle Fleurance, while Mr Malamed formerly worked with Paris head Sébastien Bonnard and London-based global litigation co-chair Nicholas Tse at Gide Loyrette Nouel. He left Gide in 2011 for Weil Gotshal & Manges before moving to August and Debouzy in January last year. The hires are intended to strengthen the firm’s ‘Transmanche’ or cross-Channel team developed by Bonnard and Tse. Brown Rudnick' Paris was launched at the end of 2013 focusing on international litigation and arbitration. Source: The Lawyer; Boston Business Journal
