California shake-up continues as Mitchell Silberberg combines with boutique

Los Angeles-based Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp, well-known for its entertainment and new media practice, is to become a 130-lawyer firm on Wednesday when it merges with Richardson Patel.

Entertainment firm Mitchell Silberberg has merged with a boutique Wollertz

The combined firm - which retains the name of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp - predicts an annual revenue of $80m through its offices in LA, New York and Washington DC. Kevin Gaut of the Mitchell Silberberg side will be the chair of the firm - with Nimish Patel of Richardson Patel acting as vice-chair.
