The research, involving 146 senior lawyers and executives, found that 90 per cent of such disputes involve at least two or three foreign countries. The most common trigger is a customer dispute. IP and competition are other common problems. Michael Davison of Iosco said: 'Lawyers are expected to anticipate and address legal or regulatory hurdles in advance.
