Big data is a lucrative area for law firms nmedia

Ms Callahan, who was recruited two years ago to set up Jenner & Block's privacy and data protection pratice told Capital Business that she had worked on 15 data breaches this year. She said that privacy would grow in the education area and amongst companies that 'intersect with government - government contractors and others that provide services to the government, like cloud providers...'. She also predicted that 'big data' would continue to be a problem across industries as would the desire to understand mobile data wiht consumer-facing companies keen to understand the mobile customer.
