The Facebook generation is using prenuptial agreements to protect social media content with lawyers now adding 'lifestyle clauses' to protect themselves when marriages go wrong. Such clauses cover the intellectual property issues of what can or cannot be said or shown in the aftermath of a relationship. Australian lawyer Heather McKinnon of Slater & Gordon told ABC that she was dealing with issues of social media every day - from Facebook albums of holidays or children or personal information exchanged online. The American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers has also noted the high numbers of increased social networking problems in divorce cases with 80 per cent seeing more such issues.
