Fees after Lehman collapse rise to US$ 3 billion

About US $ 2 billion has been paid out in relation to the US collapse and another US $ 1billion has been paid in Europe. Harvey Miller, partner in Weil Gotshal which is the lead bankruptcy lawyer for Lehman, told the Financial Times: 'Lehman was global and extremely large. Within days, approximately 80 foreign receiverships and insolvency proceedings were commenced against Lehman.'
