France: on the move

French employment law specialist law firm Moisand Boutin & Associés advised Paris-based transport infrastructure engineering group Systra on the labour aspects of a merger involving its subsidiaries Inexia and Xelis.

The merger marks the end of a long-running process initiated in October 2010 following the announcement by the Société Nationale des Chemins de Fer Français, France’s national state-owned railway company, and the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens, the state-owned Paris public transport operator, to re-establish their alliance through Systra, which employees 1,800 staff.
Moisand Boutin & Associés’ team was led by partner Christine Hillig-Poudevigne and Anasthasia Demol.
