Lyon: Fromont Briens launches training department

French law firm Fromont Briens has flown out of the blocks since the turn of the New Year, launching a landmark training department and adding four new partners to its ranks.

The labour law specialist, with offices in Lyon and Paris, drafted in Sabrina Dougados – formally general counsel at the entre de Formation de la Profession Bancaire (Banking Professional Training Centre) - as partner to co-direct the firm’s professional training department with Sophie Pélicier-Loevenbruck.

Professional training

In a statement, the firm said they are ‘intimately convinced’ that the competitiveness of companies is strongly linked to professional training. The firm also claims to be the first to establish a department of this nature.
The department will provide counsel and litigation services to professional entities, companies and financial institutions as well as training services providers, education centres and training centres.
The labour law department of the firm has been further boosted by the promotion of Zora Villalard, Guillaume Desmoulin and Maud Perilli, taking the firm’s overall partner count to 36.
