Gide snaps up LVMH's Ouart

The French firm has moved to boost its disputes team with the hire of Patrick Ouart.

French law firm Gide has announced the arrival of Patrick Ouart as a partner in its international dispute resolution team.
The lawyer, who hails from luxury company LVMH, has practised as magistrate for some 15 years, serving  in the highest ranks of the French State for both the Prime Minister  from 1993 to 1995 and the President of the Republic from 2007 to 2009 as advisor on legal issues. He has also been a member of the Executive Committees for two major French multinational corporations, Suez, where he was employed from 1998 and 2003. He completed two stints at  LVMH - from 2004 to 2007 and  2009 to 2013. 

International renown

Commenting on the new arrival, Gide Senior Partner Baudouin de Moucheron and Managing Partner Stéphane Puel said:  'We are delighted to welcome Patrick Ouart here at Gide.
