Research published in the 'Wealth Report 2013', sponsored by Global Legal Post in association with Boodle Hatfield, shows that 57 per cent of lawyers say giving levels have stayed stable over the past five years. Another 16 per cent say that clients have increased the sums they give. One respondent to the research survey comments that wealthy parents sometimes manage to combine the aims of philanthropy and training up their heirs to manage the family money: 'Some families ensure their children get a strong grounding in the commercial realities of life through internships or philanthropic projects.'
