The Supreme Court of India has now allowed two appeals to go ahead against decisions which would have helped foreign practices to enter. The appeals are against decisions in the High Courts of Madras and Bombay. The complexity of the issue is perhaps best illustrated by the fact that the Bar Council of India is the appellant in the Madras case and the respndent in the Bombay case.
