The move is the latest move among top-level partners who have been switching firms over the course of 2013. At Bingham McCutchen, Ms Murphy will be one of about 1,000 lawyers worldwide and one of about 80 in the anti-trust group. Bingham has 14 offices spread across the US, Europe and Asia. The London office recently recruited Thiha Tun to its investment funds practice from Herbert Smith Freehills. The firm has worked hard on building up its anti-trust practice over the last year, adding two former US government lawyers to its team in Washington.
