Law firm K&L Gates is on a mission to fight the latest social media phenomen, revenge porn. Fifty lawyers from the firm are working with about 100 victims whose sexually explicit photos and videos have been distributed online without their consent, many of these by disgruntled ex-partners. The move to protect privacy online sees the lawyers approaching websites and threatening legal action. The Cyber Civil Rights Legal Project is run on a pro bono basis.
