The local team is made up of Constantin Saranchouk, a Russian-qualified advocate, and Irina Molchanova, an associate. Mr Saranchouk specialises, according to an announcement made by the UK-based Kennedys, in 'high value insurance claims, the resolution of insurance disputes in the Russian commercial courts and international arbitrations seated in Russia'. He is expected to enter the Kennedys partnership when regulatory clearance has happened in the UK.

International insurers

Mr Saranchouk said: 'Given the current levels of activity in the Russian energy, construction and aerospace markets, and a rise in disputes, I expect the office to attract contentious instructions from both international insurers as well as major Russian carriers.'

Global network
