US law firm King & Spalding and 15 other participating law firms have launched a new alliance for employment law. BECTELLA brings together firms with specialty practices in employee benefits, executive compensation, tax, employment and labour law. The alliance was the brainchild of King & Spalding partner Kenneth Raskin and is intended to be a resource to provide participating law firms’ clients with access to a worldwide network of employment law experts. Raskin said that participating firms had  'established reputations in the global legal community for their work in these practice areas.'  At the time of its launch, the alliance covers 20 countries across five continents, with broader coverage expected. King & Spalding is the sole representative for both the United States and the United Kingdom. Participation in the alliance is by invitation only.
