Law firms follow Cravath example on bonuses

US firms are sticking to 2013 levels for this year's bonus.

US firms have frozen bonuses Rraum

Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft and Proskauer Rose have become the latest firms to follow the Cravath Swaine example of giving the same bonuses this year as for 12 months back. Employees at the leading US firms are hoping that a firm will go above the cautious bonuses offered by Cravath Swaine & Moore at the start of the annual bonus declaration season. Many of the payments will be made this month although Cadwalader waits until February each year before making its cash transfers. Eyes are on Sullivan & Cromwell to see if any firm will go higher this year, according to Above The Law.
