Modeste Martineau Bria was the director of judiciary services at the Justice Ministry when he was killed by rebels who, in spring, had overthrown the government. The lawyers marched with a banner saying 'No genocide'. The rebels have been blamed for killing dozens of civilians since March when they invaded the capital. Observers from abroad have warned that the state is close to anarchy. Lawyer Emile Bizon said that the march was organised to protest against the killing of Mr Bria and 'the more and more frequent killings' taking place. Source: Wral.com
