The main recipients were three companies, including Guangdong Xindadi Biotechnology, which were accused of financial fraud. But the CSRC said, according to NZWeek, that intermediaries including law firms and accountants were also given 'punishments'. The fines include one of the equivalent of US $360,000. The moves are said to mark a tougher stance which has come in with the arrival of new head, Xiao Gang, in March this year.
