LegalMation, an AI platform that automates the drafting of early stage litigation documents, has announced the expansion of its platform to Florida.  In addition to Florida, LegalMation is currently available in California, Texas, and New Jersey.

Litigation volume

The four states combined account for nearly 40% of litigation volume in the US. The platform structures a lawsuit into hundreds of data points and provides the basis for a range of outputs including modules which analyze complaints/lawsuits/discovery requests in order to generate high-quality draft responses, written discovery requests and responsive objections.  The expansion to Florida was driven by the need of LegalMation's key clients. James M Lee, ceo of LegalMation, said ‘LegalMation's mission is to help attorneys leverage the power of artificial intelligence to complete routine litigation tasks and provide actionable data, so that attorneys can now devote their talents and time on higher level strategy decisions.’

Scratching the surface

Mr Lee added, ‘our expansion into the Florida market is just another step toward transforming the practice of law nationally and delivering the kind of smart, time-saving tools that today's corporate counsel and law firm attorneys want.  Our roadmap calls for various other functions such as automated matter profiling and granular deep data analytics, and we are just scratching the surface.’ LegalMation claims it is the only legal AI solution that automates the drafting of key documents in the early stages of litigation, a process the company says normally takes attorneys or paraprofessionals 10 hours or more to complete.
