The Re:link community will draw significantly, but not exclusively, from the firm’s extensive alumni network to offer clients and practices broader access to expertise and connect lawyers with high profile legal experience while working flexibly.

Legal experience

Re:link will initially operate in the UK with a view to expanding the offering to other regions. The firm stated that Re:link is ‘distinguished from other offerings in the market, with a strong focus on quality of legal experience, supported by a sophisticated platform infrastructure.’ Gideon Moore, firmwide managing partner said “We recognise that the needs of our clients are changing. Re:link, our contract lawyer platform and a key component of our legal operations toolkit, will enable Linklaters to operate in an agile way and allow us to meet our clients’ needs efficiently in a fast-changing and fast-moving environment. As with any offering to clients, the aim is to provide the highest quality of service in a way that absolutely works for their business.’

People agenda

Mark Higgs, chief operating officer of Re:link, explained “Re:link’s clear alignment with Linklaters reflects the firm’s strong commitment to its client and people agenda. Establishing Re:link at the centre of the firm’s focus on legal operations is a clear differentiator for clients and lawyers alike. We are there to provide both with a best in class offering and an absolute commitment to quality and efficiency.”
