Louis Vuitton partners with video games producer

Luxury brands are collaborating with video games to find new digital audiences with Louis Vuitton the latest to announce a partnership.

The French fashion house has announced a partnership with 'League of Legends' developer Riot Games which will include a fashion collection and a custom-made trophy case for the League's annual exports finals in Paris this November. The trend, which will be discussed at the New York Luxury Law Summit on 13 November, is part of a move for luxury brands to find new audiences. The game has 8 million daily users, following close to teen favorite "Fortnite." Louis Vuitton CEO and chairman Michael Burke said the company liked to be 'associated with the world's most coveted trophies' and that the company was 'thrilled to be part of such an iconic event.'
