Beijing-headquartered Jingtian has offices across China and its practices include capital markets, M&A, banking and finance, real estate and dispute resolution. As part of the agreement, Mayer Brown will provide office space and other resources to Jingtian in its Hong Kong office, and the two firms will collaborate in business development, training and provision of services to clients.
Collaboration
Elaine Lo, Mayer Brown’s senior partner and Asia chair, said: ‘Some of our partners have been cooperating with Jingtian’s partners for many years. This association formalises our relationship and will facilitate ever closer collaboration between the two firms. The clients of Jingtian will have access to the services of Mayer Brown’s global network; while Jingtian’s significant resources will supplement our capabilities in mainland China.’ Sources: Australasian Lawyer; Mayer Brown JSM
