Ma Khine, a reporter for Eleven Media, was sentenced to three months for trespassing - a charge that rarely leads to incarceration. Aye Min of the MLN said that a letter had been sent to President U Thein Sein about the case. Aye Min added: 'If you look at Ma Khine's case, it is evident that the judiciary has been influenced by the executive sector. As she has been imprisoned for an incident that can't be used in sending people to prison, we are objecting. We'll continue to work within the law for Ma Khine to be freed.' Source: Eleven Myanmar
