The office will be led by local partner Alexander Weigelt who has practised in Ukraine for many years with Tatiana Khandazhevska and Volodymyr Yakubovsky becoming head of corporate and head of commercial respectively. Ukraine managing partner Dr Mansur Pour Rafsendjani will move back to Noerr’s Munich office where he will head a new International Trade unit with Dr Bärbel Sachs of Berlin.
Close co-operation
The two firms will continue to collaborate, says Mr Weigelt, adding that ‘the close co-operation with Noerr will guarantee professional continuity in current client work.’ Earlier this year Noerr, which has a strong presence across Central and Eastern Europe, announced its plans to open a new office in Brussels.
