The Brazil practice will be led jointly by Andrew Haynes - newly arrived from the post of assistant GC global corporate at BP - and Glenn Faass, head of the Bogota office. The firm says that the Brazil practice will 'initially' be based in Rio.
Reaching the southern cone
Elisabeth Eljuri, head of the firm in Latin America, said: 'Our Brazil practice will play a key part in our strategy to target mandates across Latin America, including the 'Southern Cone' of Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay, and to capture intra-Latin American transactional work.
