Pinsent Masons wields axe over employment team

London law firm Pinsent Masons is to cut around 13 lawyers from its employment law team in response to 'market changes'.

Pinsent uses its client feedback programme to ensure healthy relationships and put right any wrongs before they become serious

The job losses are set to be spread around the firm’s UK network which includes London, Edinburgh and Glasgow, reports the Scotsman.
In a statement the firm said that it ‘continues to grow’ from a number of ‘strategic investments’, but cuts in the employment law field were needed as the ‘dynamics have shifted fundamentally’.
The firm added that the restructuring would create a group which is ‘the right size and shape’ to respond to demand.
Exact numbers have not been confirmed, but the firm ‘expects around 13 people’ to leave.
