Typical analysis
Feature by feature, the report lists the ways in which the iPhone has the upper hand and also suggests ‘directions for improvement’ based on Apple’s products.

Meanwhile, in a similar trial being heard in Australia, Samsung have been warned by a Federal Court judge to rethink an allegation that Apple improperly influenced key witnesses.
Australian web site Mac World reports that Samsung lawyer Katrina Howard claimed it was it was ‘most inappropriate’ for Apple to discuss a change to a joint report written by three experts considering whether Californian’s devices infringe on Samsung’s 3G patents.
Justice Annabelle Claire Bennett told Ms Howard that she had made a ‘serious statement’ and that she might want to consider ‘what you want to do with that’.
