US employment law firm Littler Mendelson has taken over a Puerto Rican law firm as the San Franciscan practice expands its Latin American coverage. Schuster Aguilo will become part of Littler on 1 January, following on the heels of similar deals with Colombian law firm Godoy Cordoba Abodados and Costa Rican law firm BDS Asesores.The San Franciscan firm is expanding its practice in a bid to beef up its cross-border capacity and has more than 1000 lawyers across 60 offices globally. The Puerto Rican deal will go through on 1 January 2014.
