Seyfarth Shaw opens two offices in Australia

Six months after it announced its intention to go to Australia, Chicago-based law firm has opened up in Sydney and Melbourne.

The firm recruited eight partners - all in employment and industrial relations - from three top legal practices to staff the new offices. Five came from Herbert Smith Freehills. Darren Gardner, Seyfarth Shaw's international chair, said: 'We are very excited at the opportunity to deliver our specialist offering to clients across Australia and into the Asia-Pacific region more generally.'
