Swedish firm in Lithuanian law firm swoop

Swedish law firm Magnusson completes its Baltic Region expansion plan with the acquisition of a Lithuanian 20 lawyer team.

Vilnius has seen the merger of two top Baltic law firm offices

Swedish firm Magnusson picked up Lithuanian firm Nordia Baublys in the last lap of its Baltic region expansion. The firm, which opened offices last year in Estonia and Latvia, sees 20 lawyers, including four partners join the firm with Nordia Baublys corporate partner Ligita Ramanauskaite becoming managing partner of Magnusson Luthuania.

The new additions give Magnusson offices offering full legal services in Kaunas and Vilnius including corporate and M&A, banking and finance, dispute resolution, real estate, tax and employment.

Pan-regional

Ligita Ramanauskaite said the firm looked forward to “ becoming a part of an integrated pan-regional leader and to exploting new opportunities across international frontiers.”  Magnusson senior partner Per Magnusson said that the move “crowns our pan-regional expansion and bears testament to our dedication to delivering what we promise.”
