There was a gain of 600 legal jobs last month, which pushed the total number of employees in the legal sector to its highest since July 2009, reports the Business Insider web site.
The department of labour also revised its figures for September, confirming a gain of 1,300 legal jobs rather than the 1,000 originally reported.
The last time the legal services sector posted a drop was in August, with a reported loss of some 1,400 jobs.
