Richard Griffin, general counsel of the NLRB has alleged that it appears that Wal-Mart unlawfully threatened over 100 employees with reprisals if they took part in strikes over their working conditions and earnings. Mr Griffin appears ready to press ahead with charges relating to the conduct of the company in 13 different US states. A spokeswoman for Wal-Mart said that the company disagreed with the NLRB and was preparing to defend itself. Source: The Washington Post
