WongPartnership appoints joint managing partners

Major Singapore law firm WongPartnership has shaken up its management structure with the appointment of two joint managing partners.

Rachel Eng and Ng Wai King are now joint managing partners of the firm, switching from the previous model where capital markets partner Ms Eng was acting as sole managing partner while Mr Ng headed the corporate practice.
According to a statement from the firm, they two lawyers will also join the firm’s executive committee, which has seven members.
Senior partner Alvin Yeo commented: ‘Our joint managing partners will share the responsibility of driving our practices to serve the needs of our clients. Rachel and Wai King are ideal candidates to fill this role, as they are leaders in their own areas of practice and have been handling different aspects of management over the many years they have been in the firm.’
