Al Tamimi & Company is launching a specialist sports law practice to cover the Middle East - and other law firms are also 'believed to have recently beefed up' their staff numbers on sport, according to The National. Doha-based Steven Bainbridge, head of the Al Tamimi sports group, says: 'We’ve had a critical mass of client queries about sports law, and we anticipate it being a productive long-run part of our business.' The area is also involved in many other sports - including Formula One motor racing, tennis, golf and horse racing. Source: The National
